Become a Blue Economy Change-Maker
What is the BBT Ambassador Programme
The BBT Ambassador Programme is designed to increase the visibility of both the blue bioeconomy and the learning opportunities offered through the Blue Bio Techpreneurs project.
By involving participants as ambassadors, the programme helps introduce BBT opportunities to new audiences and wider networks.
In doing so, it supports the project’s core goals, raising awareness of the blue biotech sector, its potential applications, and related learning opportunities, while also encouraging more students and professionals to explore career pathways in the blue bioeconomy.
Who can apply?
Anyone interested in the blue bioeconomy who wants to get involved, learn more about the sector, access opportunities easily, and help share important activities.
Timeline
Applications will remain open until 17 April, after which selected ambassadors will be contacted.

Blue Economy Change-Maker Certificate
Alongside the Ambassador Programme, learners who complete all five BBT courses (you can indicate this in the form below) will receive the Blue Economy Change-Maker Certificate, signed by the BBT partners.
The five courses offer a comprehensive introduction to the blue bioeconomy, exploring topics such as blue biotechnology, entrepreneurship, coastal aquaculture, integrated ocean planning, and innovation pathways on land and at sea.
Together, they give learners a stronger understanding of the sector’s opportunities, challenges, and real-world applications.
You can find all the course here.
This certificate adds value and recognition to the learning journey, while helping showcase the blue bioeconomy skills and knowledge acquired through the programme.
